New Friends
and Contribute to the
Community
The Junior Matrons of San Carlos
was formed to promote friendship
among its members and the
community. We support local
organizations through our
involvement in Chickens' Ball and
Kiwanis Shows and contributions
to numerous charities. This devoted
association has been in existence
since 1935, making it the most
long-standing active woman's
group in San Carlos. We are not
exclusive to those living in San
Carlos. Some of our are activities
are... Fashion Shows, Concerts,
Hometown Days - Hot Dog Booth,
Bake Sales, Boutique Sales and
many more. We have section
groups to share new books, play
bridge, sew, play mahjong, or go
out for lunch.
Annual Dues of $30 entitles members to lunch
once a month with diverse programs and
entertainment.

Members are required to serve a pre-set menu
lunch to a table of fellow members once a year.
Most of the women have opted to subscribe to a
catered luncheon where all they have to do is
serve the lunch.
